Kings of Kickboxing was made and aired in 2004 by TV Producer Ronan McCloskey. This short documentary followed Belfast’s veteran kickboxing champion Billy Murray as he tried to get match fit at the age of 47 when he came out of retirement for a second time for a fund-raiser to help a friend seriously ill with cancer.
See a planned warm-up bout that didn’t actually go to plan which sparked an immediate plan of action. Follow Billy Murray and the team to a training camp away from home in Lanzarote before the big showdown at the Ulster Hall with old foe, New-Zealander, Norn ‘the Storm' Graham
Other kickboxing kings featured here too, are: Gary Hamilton, Ken Horan, and the Canadian team – led by legendary figure Jean-Yves Theriault
